Are five possible photographers enough to shuffle through, or should I be looking for more options? And then, how do I pick?? What kind of questions do I need to ask? It seems like all the info I need is in their "package" descriptions and rate info...

Well assuming you've looked through their online pictures (and if they have a blog, even better! although beware, photography blogs are addicting! lol) I'd say 5 is enough to choose from. I would set up a meeting with each of them to ask a few questions and see if your personalities match up. You don't want a stuck up snobby photographer! lol. I've read stories of mean photographers at weddings. As for questions... I'd ask things like:
ReplyDelete*Are they going to be the one shooting the wedding?
*What happens if they get hit by a bus the day of the wedding?
*Are they okay with family/friends "piggybacking" on posed photos?
*Etc...
